At PIN Forensics, we use advanced techniques for forensic data extraction, such as chip-off analysis and JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) analysis. These techniques allow us to extract data from heavily damaged or tampered devices, as well as devices that are no longer functional or have been deliberately wiped.

 

Once the data has been extracted, we use a combination of automated tools and manual analysis to quickly and accurately identify relevant information. Our analysts are trained to use tools such as EnCase and FTK (Forensic Toolkit) to search for and extract key pieces of evidence, such as documents, photos, videos, and communications. We also have experience in using specialized tools such as XRY and Cellebrite to extract data from smartphones and other mobile devices.

 

In addition to our advanced methods, we also have experience in dealing with encrypted data and developing custom decryption strategies when necessary. Our team of certified forensic analysts is trained to identify and analyze encrypted data, supporting the successful prosecution of criminal cases.
