Senior Forensic Examiner

PIN Forensics is seeking a forensic examiner with a minimum of 8 years of experience with the US federal government in a relevant agency and field, and a masters degree in a relevant discipline. Experience in chip-off and JTAG analysis is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forensic data extraction techniques and be proficient in using tools such as EnCase, FTK, XRY, and Cellebrite.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for extracting data from seized devices using advanced methods such as chip-off and JTAG analysis. You will then use automated tools and manual analysis to identify relevant information and provide expert testimony in criminal cases.

 

Experience in dealing with encrypted data and developing custom decryption strategies is a plus. Certification as a forensic analyst is preferred but not required.

Government Relations Officer

As a government relations officer for PIN Forensics, you will be responsible for representing the company's interests and building relationships with government agencies and officials at the local, state, and federal levels. This position is based in Washington, D.C., and you will work to promote PIN Forensics as a leading provider of forensic data extraction services and educate government officials about the value of our services in supporting law enforcement and national security efforts.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a government relations strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. You will identify key decision-makers and influencers in government agencies and build relationships with them through regular communication, meetings, and other outreach efforts. You will stay informed about government policies and regulations that impact the forensic data extraction industry, and you will work to shape those policies in a way that benefits PIN Forensics.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of government processes and how to navigate them effectively. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. A background in law enforcement or national security, as well as knowledge of forensic data extraction, will be beneficial for this position.

Human Resources Officer (HRO)

As a Human Resources officer for PIN Forensics, you will be responsible for supporting the company's HR operations and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This position is a remote role and you will work closely with the HR team to implement policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees. You will work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions, and you will use a variety of recruitment methods to identify and attract qualified candidates. You will also be responsible for conducting initial interviews and coordinating the hiring process, ensuring that new employees are properly onboarded and trained.

You will also be responsible for managing employee records and benefits, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, administering benefit programs, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. You will provide support to employees on HR-related issues, and you will work with the HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of HR principles and employment laws, as well as experience managing the recruitment and onboarding process. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote role. A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred, and PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
